International admissions

Ibn Haldun University publishes a detailed international undergraduate admissions page through its International Office, covering the application sequence, the required document set, the equivalence-certificate process, explicit English proficiency exams with minimum scores, a C1 Turkish TÖMER requirement for Islamic Studies and Law, residence-permit handling and registration-day payment rules. The page states only that applications open once a year, with no dates. It refers to an "Online Application System" but contains no link to it, and no undergraduate application URL was found elsewhere on the ihu.edu.tr domain - apply.ihu.edu.tr serves only PhD and master's programmes. Acceptance criteria for international and national entrance exams are offered as two Google Drive PDFs rather than pages on the university's own domain.

• All documents except photos must be submitted in PDF form; other file types are not accepted. Applications are submitted online and a confirmation e-mail follows - "If the email is not received, then your application is not completed." The page states: "Applications for Undergraduate Programs at Ibn Haldun University are open once a year."
• Acceptance letter: admitted students receive it by e-mail and must bring a printed copy on registration day.
• Diploma: high school diploma in Turkish or English; if in another language it must be translated by a sworn translator and notarised, "otherwise, it will not be accepted".
• Transcript: same rule - Turkish or English, otherwise sworn translation and notarisation.
• Equivalence certificate (denklik) proving the high school diploma is equivalent to a Turkish one. The page advises applying via the Educational Attaché Office in the home country where possible, with the original diploma and transcripts covering all years of study, stamped and officially certified; otherwise applying in Türkiye online at https://edenklik.meb.gov.tr/.
• English proficiency: YDS/YÖKDİL 90, TOEFL iBT 80, PTE Academic 60, CPE C, CAE C, FCE B, or minimum 55 on the Pearson Versant Placement Test administered by the university; otherwise the English Preparatory Program, which carries an additional tuition fee.
• Turkish proficiency: a C1-level TÖMER certificate is required for students enrolling in the Islamic Studies and Law programmes.
• Residence permit: students already in Türkiye with a permit must bring the card on registration day; others apply through the International Office after registration.
• Photos: four passport-sized photographs taken within the last six months, submitted on registration day.
• Payment: "International students with partial scholarships or without scholarships must submit the payment receipt for one semester or one year of tuition fees on the registration day." Both originals and copies of all documents must be presented at registration.
